Synopsis:
The most legendary hero of our time, would be the great Aramil, who went from humble beginnings to the highest of heights. Nobody stands close to the elf druid/wizard who had managed to live the end of his days resting at home.
We salute you Aramil... and your ventures.
The story begins sometime before Aramil was venturing outside of the safety of his home...when a young ranger by the name of Tharivol embarked on a mission [or rather got caught up in one], in which he forgets now, after reflecting upon the situation, what it was even about. He does remember one thing:
The companions I had gotten to know slightly, were all brutally murdered and killed by a giant troll. How tragic to experience such a thing of my first venture. I was the only one who survived and in their memory I came to go on more ventures and found them to be more pleasurable.
When Aramil first set off, it was almost a year after Tharivol had barely escaped with his life. There were two other young members of his party, the genius cleric Asdra, and the silent assassin Eberk. [There is some question as to whether or not Eberk was his real name]. They came from the king's castle, on a mission to hunt down a wizard. [It was hard to remember]
Part way through the quest they ran into a young paladin, who was quite crafty...[His name was a series of numbers] it would appear that he was a close relation to one of the members who was on the same quest as Tharivol. Upon reflection Tharivol remembers...
Our party was so large that it was actually split into two groups. The first group was somewhere else, and me and my companions were a much smaller group...
So, it appears that the close relative of the numbered paladin had survived the incident being apart of another party.
It appeared that the quest ended in confusion. They didn't suceed, but instead went on a different quest, in which case they were assigned to take out a notorious group of assassins, halfway across the world known as the death blades.
By this time nobody was really seen as the 'leader' they all just worked together. They made some friends a long the way... cutting across Artine, and into the elf haven...in which they went to port Salmon, and eventually made their way to the elvish country of Silyan, in which they decided to take a boat north to the arctic lands. [They would cut across the poles and make it to Shifery where the deathblades were at large. Eventually they completed their journey, after traveling many, many weeks.
This would prove to be one of the last missions that Eberk went on...and yet Aramil and Asdra continued on for a time...supposedly. They eventually split up, and met back up during the events in a quest called 'The flying snow cloud' in which a cloud of snow...brought jubilation to all who found it. The quest brought out other new questers into Aramil's story...there was a dwarf who went by the name Tordek, and there was a bard [unnamed] and a half dragon [unnamed]. They didn't get too far in the quest, or maybe it just wasn't recorded properly. It wasn't in till maybe a few months later, or even beyond that...that a few more people joined the fray, [after the bard and the dragon left].
While questing in an unknown land, Aramil came upon his old friend Tordek, [from the previous quest] and a new dwarf, who went by the name Tinner. There was a monk named Creal...and a ranger named Dark Serium... they were both weaker, and less polished as Aramil, and would remain for quite some time. After the quests in this land proved successful...the Aramil mercenaries were formally band. Except that Tordek left...and was never really seen again...
[There are a few instances where Tharivol shows up...usually alongside Aramil].
However...the next few years of questing would prove to be the last ones for Aramil...and then...there were countless deaths...Creal...and Dark both died...Aropeus died...Ragweed died...so many companions died and buried. Xyvivi or however you say her name went missing sometime after Aramil disappeared, halfway through a quest already. Tinner appeared a few years later...
escaped from a prison...
Then they all appeared again in a jungle...tis a pity...Tharivol never showed his face again...Sekkai was also a 'member' and so was Dayereth, and Erevan...both shady and unpolished characters..[with the exception of Sekkai]
