Within the school lecture room there were bodies strewn all across the seats and chairs and a dusky light slowly fell down from the florescent lights above. The vampire prince slowly strode into the room and looked at all of the bodies which were soon to be his minions. Humans were weak and easily controlled and manipulated. A smile crossed his face as his already controlled minions filtered into the room. Vanessa was one he had found extremely useful, especially since she knew the most about Ryan, the supposed--'angel'. The take over of the school was nearly complete yet there was something wrong...Ryan went to this school and yet he was nowhere to be found. He paused, one of the bodies was not laying down, instead it was sitting up, slouched in one of the small lecture chairs. The chair was positioned in the center of the row of seats, the perfect place to watch as the other vampires strode into the room. Cronis found something rather odd about the entire mess, and then he stopped.
"What is it...?" Vanessa asked and the vampire prince waved his hand, "Leave now..." he muttered and the other vampires left. After a long pause the student who was slouched down stood up. "You are smarter than you look...vampire prince..." he muttered opening his eyes revealing the angelic aura that instantly came to his fingertips. Kajimuuka came right into the palm of his hands as he jumped from the seat he was sitting in and slashed directly at the vampire. The holy sword only swiped at air as the prince darted out of the way of the attack. The skilled swordsman spun around in a few arcs to keep the distance between the two of them. This was not like any other opponent he had fought, this was full-blood vampire...and a royal to boot. He is the third most powerful vampire in the entire world...at least from Ryan's knowledge base. "Do you think you can actually win against me?" the vampire asked rushing forward with immense speed catching Ryan by the throat and pushing him against the wall. He could feel the dark energy flowing around, mixing with the energy of his angel aura. The power was incredible and he could feel the life being squeezed from his body. His right hand lax and Kajimuuka fell from his hand and disappeared. "You can't win..." Cronis muttered pushing Ryan's body deep into the wall. His lungs eventually stopped moving and Cronis put once last strain on the neck to try and finish the job. With the final squeeze the body broke and shattered into thousands of pieces of glass. This surprised the vampire because that was not an ability that angels possessed, that was an arcane art, and the way it was flawlessly casted. He turned around to see his adversary behind him, withe Kajimuuka in his hand. Something was not right about the way the events had taken place. Had the spell been already in effect, but how could that be if the holy sword had appeared in the hands of both people. There was no way, even a highly advanced caster in magic would not be able to do such a technique to that degree. However the thinking stopped and the second Ryan charged by jumping into the air and slashing downwards in two twirling arcs. The vampire prince blocked the attacks with his owned covered hands and then he counter-attacked with a trust from his own fist which was dodged easily enough this time unlike the last time. The two circled around each other for a moment, when Cronis charged forward with his fist and Ryan's freehand latched onto his wrist and he kicked the vamp in the face with both of his legs, but the recovery time of the prince was instantaneous and the swordsman went flying back from a punch from the free hand of vampire. Doing a midair flip, Ryan managed to land on one of the chairs, and the vampire charged up with incredible speed, and managed to get his hand around his opponent's neck once more. However it appeared as if this one did not feel the effects of the vampire's hold. "You might want to try a different technique..." The vampire lord turned to see that in fact his thesis was correct: There were two of them! Yet, one thing remained true: there was only one Kajimuuka, so therefore they were both real and not just clones or illusions. The first Ryan attacked from behind throwing a punch at the prince's back, while the second Ryan slammed his fist into the vampire's wrist and the twin attack allowed the two to become free.
"Who the hell are you?" Cronis yelled turning around to keep an eye on his opponents. "I am Ryan!" came the reply from one of them, they ran at him and then converged into one person and slammed Kajimuuka into the vampire's covered hands. The force of the attack threw the prince back into the other wall, but he rushed back and threw a punch at Ryan who ducked and threw three more punches into the prince's stomach. The recoil resulted in a knee to Ryan's face who got smashed into the ground and rolled to a stop at the far wall. Blood poured out of his mouth and nose as he stood up, only to get stomped on the back. His right hand spun around and the holy sword flashed, releasing the foothold that the vampire had on him. The two faced each other again...clearly, despite the new found powers that Ryan had mysteriously obtained, he was still no match for the prince. They were about to begin the next part of the fight when Vanessa crept into the room. "I told you to stay back girl!" Cronis yelled and the half vampire girl looked at Ryan with curiousity. "So...you...made...Kristie...?" she asked and Ryan nodded. "Yeah...I am the one who purges the darkness!" he yelled removing the holy coin from his pocket and tossing it up into the air. "Are you ready?" he whispered--but it was too late- the vampire prince had moved by this time catching Ryan in the gut and a stream of blood erupted from his lips and onto the carpeted floor. Two more punches came and Ryan flew back into the far wall and crumpled into a heap. "I have to finish it now...you better get out of here!" he yelled at Vanessa and then he fly up to where Ryan had been knocked to. He lifted up the limp body and began to slam his fists into the body over and over again. Kajimuuka disappeared, and the aura was fading, soon he would die...soon...
"STOP!" the voice radiated out like a violent storm. A human girl stood at the bottom of the lecture hall, her dark piercing eyes burned into the prince and he could not help but feel a strange presence radiating form her...she must be... "Cassandra!?" Cronis shouted in surprise as he turned to look at the girl who was now activating her own angellic eye. 'That fool... what are you thinking Ryan? You can't beat an opponent of darkness without the power of angels! she thought as she saw the mangled body of the human 'guardian'. Her aura might have been less than Ryan's, but it was ten times more acute, and she could defeat an opponent in one tenth the time it took him to...ultimately she was far more powerful than he was still. Almost instantly she appeared between Cronis and his victim and a repitition of two kicks sent the vampire down to the bottom of the lecture hall. 'Damn woman...she must have angel seals on ever limb of her body...I can't even keep the damn fools in this room unconscious...just by the powerful aura she is emitting... he thought to himself as he slowly began to back away. "I hope Tiberias finishes you off...just like your pathetic brother!"
Cassandra gave one last spiteful look as the vampire prince vanished from the school, then she scooped up the defeated Ryan and left the school...after all she still had no idea how he had gotten that power...the power outside of Rommel's eye. She would have to use Lucas and Anya's power to try and figure it out...it was too dangerous to try to unlock his mind right now.
"You...I really...really hate vampires..." Ryan muttered as he slowly stood up. "I can see where you get that...after all they have done nothing but beat the shit out of you every time you run into one..." Cassandra muttered staring darkly at Ryan as he slowly stood up in a strange bed. "That isn't always true...I managed to save Eld from his...'killer sister'" Ryan mumbled and Cassandra laughed, "You have changed... but I guess it doesn't matter once this is all done you wont be needed that eye anymore." She said with a smile and Ryan looked at the floor and didn't say anything in response, and then he finally turned to look at her. "I never can tell if you hate me...or like me... perhaps it has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with Rommel..." as the words spilled out Cassandra flashed once more on her angry side. "Shut up! You talk as if you know what--" she stopped, "It doesn't matter...just do what you think you have to do..." the door slowly opened and in came a very tired Anya who was slowly wiping the blood from her hands. "Ugh, they had the guts to come to my house! Can you imagine what mama would've thought if she had seen all of that blood..." she then stopped seeing Ryan sitting up in the bed. "Oh, wow...what a soldier you must be! I heard Cronis knocked you about, but I guess you've gotten better if he didn't kill you!" she said with a smile, there was no denying that no matter how grim things got, Anya would always be the same cheerful anti-Cassandra person. "We will discuss matters later when Lucas gets back from his...mission..." And that was that, as far as Ryan could tell. He was locked in this strange room. It was obviously a female's room, but he did not know the owner of it. Maybe it was Cassandra's room, but he doubted it because it was too cheerful. Yet there were no windows, and the only door was locked and he didn't feel like trying to force his way out of this prison.
Laura was currently in a hell she could not even understand. There were many different sorts of mythical creatures wandering about...vampires...werewolves and demons. They were all watching her as she struggled against the chains that bounded her to the wall. Everything was black and gray and she did not like the things she saw. She saw friends biting friends on the neck, and then slowly, but surely they became vampire's right in front of her. "Now it is your turn..." Vanessa said coming up to Laura, her face was pale and the girl herself began to squirm despite the pointlessness of it all. "Relax...it isn't painful..." she whispered into Laura's ear. "Not nearly as painful as getting purified!" a voice echoed out as the evil creatures turned to see the image of the 'human' angel stand amidst them. Kajimuuka glowed in his hand. Vanessa stopped...she had seen him destroy many of her friends, and she knew that he was dangerous, but Lord Cronis had given her all the power she needed to keep the plan on schedule...which reminded her that the vampire prince was nowhere to be seen.
"What...the hell?" Cronis gasped as the black umbrella was pointed directly at his face. "You want to fight a real angel...huh? I really don't like you dissing my cousin Rommel you know!" the anger in Lucas's voice was palpable. Cronis couldn't say that he could take on the dark cloaked man.
"What is it...?" Vanessa asked and the vampire prince waved his hand, "Leave now..." he muttered and the other vampires left. After a long pause the student who was slouched down stood up.
