These are just tidbits of thoughts that I acquire, and I just write them here.
New War
This story takes place on Earth, in Eagan Minnesota, but it is like a futuristic setting kind of. Nothing is actually factual, or bears any symbol of scientific evolution.
Ever since the Empire of Altus acquired the technology to destroy the world- it has been a nonstop drive of world conquest that started in the southern United States, mainly lead by a group of radical leaders, known as the Arjon. The Arjon formed Empire Altus in former Texas, New Mexico and parts of Arizona and have since spread their country's border south into Mexico, and throughout the United States of America. The technology we now call Reaper, is type of weapon that can destroy buildings and cities easily, in it's most advanced form, it would cause the ruin of 90% of the Earth. The science behind it remains unknown... Ever since the mobilization of the global militant army [GMA], the war has crept to a slow, but steady crawl. The war soon approached Minnesota, as the march towards Canada continues. Once all of North America is conquered, all hope would be lost, and a peaceful surrender would follow...
"General Kyza! This school is perfect, in fact... from the looks of it, it was in the process of being converted into a military base of operation! We could use this a crucial stepping stone!" the captain was excited, glad that his report to the General of the Northern Army was a grand one. "Perfect, have your men mobilize and take the students hostage, ship the teachers to prison, we don't want to imprison any students who might be willing to join our cause..." the General was a careful, young man who stood in one of the most powerful positions as far as Empire Altus went. Earth was much smaller when you knew about the power of Reaper. Things would be moving quite smoothly, after the twin cities were captured, Minnesota would be an easy march north... into Canada, the last battle ground of North America.
"Attention! All students, remain calm, we are under attack... all units mobilize!" The loudspeaker of the school went off and this was quite a suprising move, after all the school was not too significant considered some of the other buildings being used in other parts of the country. Ryan was busy sitting at his desk, it was annoying to be under attack during the second hour of the day, and he wasn't keen on the idea of getting caught by some Altus personnel. Without asking for the teacher's permission he stood up and left the classroom, there was some hint of objection, but he was well known throughout the school for being... well, emotionless and quite lonely, it wasn't too much of a loss... Altus had never harmed a student before and he wasn't fleeing the scene... perhaps he didn't understand the danger.
"Naive fools... oh well, become simple pawns for the Empire, see if I care..." Ryan removed his cell phone form his pocket and began to call someone, "Come on Brian, pick up the phone... your sister is sick at home right?" Ryan muttered to himself. "Hello?" came the muffled reply, damn the lead walls in the school! "Hey. Your sister better be sick at home right now..." Ryan said, and the reply came quick enough. "Yeah why?" Good, at least she isn't here, then I wont have to save her when the Empire comes...' Ryan wasn't a hero, but he preferred to pretend that way. "Altus is here, of course... you needn't worry, there isn't anyone else here worth saving at the moment... see you in a month perhaps..." he hanged up the phone-- further conversation was useless. Then he heard the crash, damn. He would have to move now, and he found the room, it was a simple science room enclosed, yet removed from the remainder of the other rooms, a new installment so to speak. It was on the third floor, and Ryan stormed in finding that the class was still in secession. The teacher was about to say something when the crash came again, and then a few minutes later an announcement came on. "All teachers! Surrender yourself to us, and nobody will be harmed!" the office had already been taken by the swift military units of Empire Altus. Although Ryan highly doubted that any form of Reaper was actually being used. There were no signs of battle going-- and it was a few minutes later that a soldier came bursting in. "Come on out!" the soldier called and the students followed... slowly, "You teacher stay where you are..." the soldier came forward, but a student remained. "Hey! Get out of here or I will shoot!"
"Do as he is said boy!"
"What utter nonsense..." Ryan uttered coming up to the soldier, "They sent a lone man out here to deal with a single classroom...leave this place before I destroy you..." the words seemed quite random coming from a student that is known to be demented in thought, but not in practice! "WHAT?" the soldier aimed his gun at the boy his finger was pressed against the trigger, death was moments away. "Look at my left hand you idiot..." Ryan said raising his hand, letting the sleeve of his sweatshirt fall away. The gaurd could see the symbol, the symbol that had etched fear into the entire country, the symbol of Arjon, the symbol of reaper. "So...what? A petty tattoo?" the soldier was obviously shaken, but he wasn't sure of what to do. "Are you sure you want to risk it?" Ryan inquired, he didn't seem daunted by the fact that a gun was being pointed at him. "Remove the teacher from the room..." he commanded, and the soldier pulled the teacher from the room and then it was just them two.
"You could call General Kyza up here, I am sure he would be interested in meeting me..." it was surprising that Ryan even knew who Kyza was, it could be a well informed student for sure, the general was on the news after all.
